The cabinet contains books that cover Bigfoot, the Grafton Monster, the Snarly Yow, the Mothman and the Greenbrier Ghost. You can also see a newspaper from Point Pleasant and one showing a sketch of the infamous Bat Boy. On the bottom shelves you will see a coal miner's helmet, lunchbox, a chunk of coal, and pickaxe on display. Some small items include an arrowhead to remember the Native Americans who once inhabited the mountain state. You can't miss the hanging picture showing the Flatwoods Monster from Braxton County. This cabinet of curiosities contains a found deer skull and box turtle shell. Don't forget about the two-headed catfish from the Kanawha River. On the top shelf you will see a picture dedicated to the incredible Trans- Allegheny Lunatic Asylum located in Weston, WV. Lastly, you fill see a sketch of Bigfoot tucked behind a coonskin cap that symbolizes the mountaineer. Together, all these symbols and pieces displayed in unity celebrate and showcase the oddities, natural findings, symbols and history which can only be discovered in the great state of West Virginia.
