Lesa is a West Virginia-based abstract painter who is most recognized for using many layers, natural textures, and a spiritual/prophetic subject in her works.
As a prophetic artist, scripture influences Lesa, and the surroundings of mountains and rivers motivate her. Along with acrylics, layering and texture are incorporated into her paintings from nature, such as rocks and bark that she transforms into natural pigments and textural elements. Lesa's paintings have evolved into a ministry to spread the hope and healing that art can bring to others' lives after she personally experienced the benefits that it brought to her own life.
